As a multi-disciplinary practice CMS can offer a range of services that are employed directly or by the appointment of specialist sub-consultants. These services can be integral within the overall appointment of CMS or on an individual basis.

The role of Project Manager within CMS is principly undertaken by Paul Coleman and Peter Blake, however the role of Project Manager can also be undertaken by the Project Architect and Project Quantity Surveyor.

The role of the Project Manager within CMS is to establish a unified team approach to listen and to understand fully the service delivery requirements of all the parties and end users of the development.

CMS employ a team of Chartered Architects headed by William Durman RIBA as Director of Architecture, John Menage RIBA and Joel Smith RIBA.

The above are currently supported by a team of Part 2 Architects that CMS are sponsoring through to Chartership headed by Paul Rogers, Tanveer Hussain, Gareth Mason and Sharifah Syed Nasir, with Craig Morris as Architectural Assistant.

Architectural Technology

A comprehensive team of architectural technologists are employed accummulating in years of experience in construction technology whilst ensuring continuous developments in construction materials and methodology combined with regulations are regularly updated.

The role of senior Quantity Surveyor is undertaken by Victoria Smith MRICS, supported by Nick Bowers FRICS and Colin Pugh MRICS.

This role is also undertaken by Victoria Smtih RICS.

This role is undertaken by Perfect Rooms, an associate company of CMS also located in High Street, Corsham headed by Sue Coleman.

Perfect Rooms provide a complete interior design service including decoration and painting services, carpets, curtain and blind making, upholstery and loose covers, tiles, wallpaper, lighting and accessories.

Perfect Rooms also provide a full service for contract work, being involved in commercial projects for over 10 years including Hospitals and Doctors' Surgeries.

As part of the overall appointment of CMS or by direct appointment by the client, these services can be provided by the appointment of a sub-consultant. CMS operates and maintains a list of approved consultants that has been developed over a number of years.

CMS appoint these sub-consultants based upon their suitability on a project by project basis.

CMS operates Applemac computers, which are networked within the office, together with PC's, providing effective planning, design and administration capabilities.

Some of the software packages CMS use are Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel.
