After achieving a difficult consent
in this sensitive location, a private
dwelling of around 250 sqm,
mainly single storey with a
galleried mezzanine floor
overlooking an open plan living
area.
The scheme utilizes a pre
fabricated super insulated shell,
clad in cedar and locally sourced
random rubble stone.
Keeping the bulding systems to a
minimum,  it used a climate
control sensor  linked to a heat
recovery ventilation and
extraction system, with rain
water harvesting and underfloor
heating to minimise the building's

running costs.
