We have built a successful relationship with First Step Homes SW (Ltd.) a developer whose aim is to provide affordable housing for first time buyers. CMS has undertaken feasibility studies for excess of 20 sites throughout the South West which primarily have been considered as 'exception sites' under Local Authority policy, identified for full affordable housing developments. Many of these sites have then progressed to a planning submission and approval received. This can follow a lengthy consultation process with the LA, Parish Council, local residents etc. and possibly with a RSL being identified. All schemes are designed to comply with the National Housing Federation Standards, Lifetime Homes, Building for Life, and aim to achieve Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 or above and Secure by Design awards.
