Remodelling and refurbishment of an existing day centre together with a new build development to provide supported independent residential flats for people with learning disabilities and difficulties. This project posed all the challenges of working with an existing building, and designing a modern new build construction on a restricted and sensitive site to a demanding brief. The project was successfully completed for Western Challenge Housing Association achieving EcoHomes Very Good as well as being built to Secure by Design, Lifetime Homes, Building for Life and National Housing Federation standards.
