Using the topography to the
scheme's advantage, the
accommodation is cut into the
slope effectively hiding the
accommodation within the
landscaping and maintaining
the existing space within the
landscape. The concept was to
create an underground house
that not only is hidden but also
using sustainable systems to
provide an ecologically sound
way of providing heating and
hot water reducing the amount
of waste.
